Thanks to my sweet daughter I now have a totally cool blog. If you haven't heard "Grace Like Rain" by Todd Agnew turn on your speakers. It is an incredible song.
And, thanks to you giving me the idea I now have music on my blog as well. :)
I so enjoy reading your blog. It is quite obvious that Bethany's gift for words and story telling comes from her wonderful mom. :)
Tip for dealing with poison ivy. Don't. (just kidding) Really, after messing around in it, shower, but do not use soap. The soap only helps to spread the plant's oils around. Wash first with water, and vinegar if you have it.
If you get poison ivy spray with vinegar (bleach is supposed to work too, but I'm always worried about it being too harsh on your skin!) and it will dry up within 2-3 days. :)
Oh yes, and what kind of spray did you use to kill the weeds? I just tried some Ortho weed killer spray and it works ok, but not to my satisfaction. I was wondering if maybe a different brand would be better?
By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us - set us right with him, make us fit for him - we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand - out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise. Romans 5:1-2
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 34 years. We have five amazing children, a Golden Retriever who lives in the house with us, and four cats. I have homeschooled our children for 25 years now. I am so thankful that I have been able to stay home with them. God, family, church, friends, and home are my priorities. I have learned to laugh and not take myself so seriously. Life is good.
