I went to the pet store today for dog food and came home with a fish. My very own fish, my first fish ever, who belongs totally to me and me only. I named him Mordecai on the way home, and he is very beautiful.
He seems to be very happy in his new home which is much larger than the little cup he called home at the pet store. I have proudly displayed him on my cabinet and have introduced him to each of our family members. Welcome home, Mordecai.
By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us - set us right with him, make us fit for him - we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand - out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise. Romans 5:1-2
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 34 years. We have five amazing children, a Golden Retriever who lives in the house with us, and four cats. I have homeschooled our children for 25 years now. I am so thankful that I have been able to stay home with them. God, family, church, friends, and home are my priorities. I have learned to laugh and not take myself so seriously. Life is good.
